The word “efficiency” is not often associated with teaching-learning process. However , any skill or concept can be explained in clear, simple manner and taught in no time or it can be obscured by unnecessary wording and wrong exercises.
This is exactly why Education is such controversial and complex subject and still a virgin field for research and improvements.
At the very core of teaching-learning process are: the methods, resources and timing.
Our formulae is based on detailed design of lessons, our own tutor books and the principle that students have to be always given challenge. We assure you that in ½ hour we can teach your child four times as much as many other teachers. While each teacher is trained to deal with apprehensiveness , shyness and occasional inappropriate behaviour of pupils it is advised that children who have no interest whatsoever in playing their instrument and willingly refuse to cooperate should find less demanding option.
Our research shows that good 30% of your children’s success is ascribed to parental input. Therefore here at PRESTO we monitor parents as well as students commitment. Provided by us TUPTUB Book is the record of such commitment. It is essential that pupils bring their TUPTUB on the lesson day and parents read the instructions on weekly basis. Additionally, we make every effort to help parents understand the tasks and special lessons can be arranged where parent can watch the teacher and pupil as well as take active part in the lesson.
Parents are provided with private e-mails of the teachers in order to keep close cooperation, solve queries and explain homework.
Regarding ABRSM exams parents should read separate section on it as well as obtain the detailed information from the Board’s website. It takes from 6 to 12 months before student can start examination program.
